               Bobs Test and Tag

Services

Test and Tag is an  OH&S Work place Requirement, and generally applies to all Hotels, Bed and Breakfasts, Nursing Homes, Public buildings, outdoor venues, displays and caravan parks.

 

All employers and employees have a duty of care, and under the AS/NZS 3760:203 Act requires that all portable 230 Volt and 415 volt (Three Phase) electrical equipment that plugs into an electric wall socket requires inspection and testing periodically.

 

The purpose of this inspection and testing is to detect any adverse conditions that could make the equipment electrically unsafe. For example, frayed cords or exposed live parts.

 

Bobs friendly personnel will inspect, test and tag your equipment with the understanding that your safety comes first.

 

We Will:-

· Inspect required equipment and label as “passed or failed” together with the date of the next service to maintain safety.

 

· Detect and report any defects affecting safety and apply an “unserviceable or failed” label where appropriate.

 

· Provide a copy of the test report to our customers on completion of testing.

 

· Offer a maintenance program to remind our customers that testing is due 4 weeks before the next due date.

· Kettles

· Toasters

· Vacuum cleaners

· Lamps

· Power boards
